I Have Divorced Parents

My mom and dad divorced when I was three. I don't know much about my dad because he was never around to begin with. My mom always told me it was because she got married at nineteen (he was twenty), I was born when she was twenty-one. For awhile it was just me and her, however when I was eleven my mom remarried.

I can understand your story. My wife left me and my son at two. I remarried when he was five. She never had much do do in his life. She passed away about five years ago and my son passed away two months ago. They never knew each other. Things just seem to happen out of our control. I hope you have a cool stepfather.

@jaymic64 Actually step-mother. A lot of people find that weird or disturbing, but they both care for me, so it doesn't matter much to me if I don't have a father.

Mine separated when I was about 11 and divorced awhile later. Your mom waited quite awhile to remarry. Mine never did. It can be hard having a single parent. But I never lacked for love. I hope you didn't either.

Well she met her second SO when I was ten and a half, I think my mom was a little afraid, plus she had to take care of me all on her own after we moved to Australia.@GentleJoe
