I Like to Lie Outside and Watch the Stars

Stargazing is so relaxing. It is the only time where my mind stops overthinking and just come to a slow stop. I don't think I have ever been so entranced with anything but the stars, the moon, and the ocean. I could stare up at the sky for hours and take in those quiet moments to myself. I hope to someday live somewhere the skies are clear and the stars are even more visible.

Have you ever laid on the beach at night and stargazed by the ocean as the waves crash upon the shore?

I currently live here. Pic taken from Bird Island in North & South Carolina, looking into North Carolina with my hometown Sunset Beach in the far distance. I was standing about 500 feet into South Carolina when I took the pic. You can see my shadow on the top of the dune's shadow.

Yes...the sense of wonder and powerful feelings knowing just how little power we really have, but are part of. :)
