Lyceum Cinema, built in 1937 to replace a previous cinema which burned down. Turned into a bingo hall in 1974 and shut down in 2006. They put a canvas across the sweeping front showing the cinema in its heyday, the canvas now a little tattered.
It seems there were plans to turn it into a community owned concert venue, being discussed in late 2017. Nothing came of it? Or is it still in the works?
