I Have Been to Another Country

I've never been to a different country actually. So if I were to go to a different country, where should I go? (I live in the USA)

Depends what you like. Greece is fun & pretty, and cheap - and man the Greeks do love to party. France is interesting, full of stuff, and the French are pretty nice outside Paris. Italy I adored, but I'm a history nut. Japan was wonderful, very exotic, and beautiful, but I always felt a bit of a freak there. England was OK for touristing, so long as you picked your food sources carefully (not that it was unsafe, just often disgustingly cooked). Wales was astonishingly pretty and again very friendly. Germany I cant comment on as we were staying with friends every time we visited, which makes a huge difference. Spain was intermittently spectacular (esp Granada) but too full of bloody English. Vietnam is also very attractive, incredibly varied & surprisingly amicable and cheap, but it does require roughing it a bit.

Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean are close. So it would be cheaper and easier than most destinations.

Try Atlantis, if possible. :)

But hey, do a roadtrip USA, like me.

Brazil, Australia, France (especially Côte d'Azur, while in the rest of France it is raining, the weather there usually will be better), England, Italy, Germany in Autumn, Japan, etc)

There's a great deal to see right here in the USA. But for traveling abroad, consider your interests and what you might like to see.
