I Have Been to Another Country

Moved to the USA in my 20s and still living here. My family is still in Ireland and I feel I don't belong in either place. No one here considers me a citizen of this country, even though I am, and when I go to Ireland no one there considers me Irish anymore. I believe I am a citizen of the earth.

I have travelled extensively in my life and realize that people are the same the world over. We are all citizens of this earth.

There are plenty of irish people in the U.S. and if you're from Ireland good. Youre still Irish. Not everyone thinks the same. You'll be fine if your here or Ireland.

That's a good way of looking at things, just don't let them get you down if that's what they aim for.
Yes, we are. Well said.
