I Have Pcos

I've been having some weight problems for quite a while now. Several years after my twins, I gained weight (thank you Mirena IUD). I got up to 250 pounds. I'm now at around 238.

Well I went to a Dietitian today and shes going to work with me on my weight loss.

One thing is I wait too long to eat after waking up. Because of my kidz i wake up at around 5-7am. And ..... I don't eat until 10 or 11. So I'm going to start having protein shakes first thing in the morning. In fact, I made mines with extra ice and put in the fridge for morning.

She told me to add fruit into my diet several times a week and to eat more colorful vegetables. This is an issue for me because of my blood sugar problems and how much fruit I'm allergic to, its crazy.

Cut out the caffeine. I'm working on it and its sooo HARD.

Lower my amount of starch. Am doing, kind of hard. Its easier to do when my blood sugar is stable.

She told me as far as exercise and eating, to maintain my weight and focus on rehab, and that weight loss can come later.

I believe thats the most of it. Simply crazy. So I'm going to try and get more rest, sleep, etc. I have no doubt that that protein shake might help. Funny how the smallest things are so overlooked hehe

Anways, thats my news and I hope I get some results here shortly.
