I Want To See A Solar Eclipse [I Have Seen a Full Solar Eclipse]

And I just did! I couldn't see the Total Point, when the sun is completely eclipsed, because of my town's location, but I got to see the sun as a crescent. It got dim outside, the streetlights came on, and the crickets started chirping. At first I used a D.I.Y projector which is an indirect way to see the eclipse from a spot of light shining through a tiny hole in a shoe box I made it with (I can't really explain it) but my neighbors let me borrow their eclipse glasses and seeing the actual thing was waaay better than what the projector allowed me to see. It's almost over but the sun is still a crescent and it's still dim, though a bit brighter, outside. I'm glad I got to see something that rarely happens in the state of Georgia!

I think I would be more excited over even seeing a partial eclipse if I didn't learn in seven years there is going to be another total solar eclipse actually in my area. (Ohio)

@Cannelle Lucky you! Someone told me I'd have to wait another 30-something years to see it again.

I am kindof jealous. Eclipses rarely happen and when they do they aren't full eclipses. There wont be one for my entire lifetime in my country. If I wanna see one imma have to go abroad.

That dim Sun is just weird because the colours don't change. Normally it gets redder when it gets darker in the evening, but it's just strangely dimmer instead.

I'm so glad we both got to see one at least once ...
