Boxing fans: What do you enjoy about watching boxing? [I Like Boxing]

I just recently became a boxing fan. It's brand new to me. I've found it very hard to explain to my friends what has drawn me to this sport. I have never been drawn to anything violent before unless you count reading murder mysteries or watching them on TV (Columbo?). But now I love to watch a good fight. It fascinates me, though I am not sure why. Please tell me what you like about watching a good boxing match.
