Offered A Way Out

Okay, well I'm a closeted tranny girl in the material world, but public online about who I really am.

The gender centre that I've been going to has offered me temporary accommodation for 18 months, whilst I transition or begin to transition. Cause if I begin now and the hormones start to take effect, I'll be kicked-out. Coming from a blue-collar conservative family background.

I explained everything, the humiliation and belittling my parents gave me, the mental torment-and-torture on-and-over 6 years (2013-2019) and my lack of self-care (2013/2014-2016/2017).

In essence, its a way forward, so do it or should I step back?

I haven't read your story but only you can decide for yourself. Me personally, life is short so people should be how they want and that's my main opinion.

On a side note, it's nice that the gender center is offering to take you but I'm sorry about your family. Sometimes it's best to get away from abusive situations, I'm just sorry the abuse is by your own family. If you did try to transition, I would see if the gender center has any other support systems. I think it's what you would need the most when doing so.
@SatanBurger I tried counselling and that was a dud, I used government mental health services and that failed, I didn't look after myself between 2013/2014-2016/2017 and no one would help me, but condemn me. It was probably depression and laziness ("lazy and crazy") that held me back.

Now I want my future, as a woman, a wife (to my endearing future hubby) and a employed mom (both in a career and as a mommy to my babies), the gender centre has warmed to me in recent years. I appreciate it a lot and probably will be leaving under the pretext of finding a cheap rental and studying outside of my current residency.

I'll have to radically rethink my plan to see things through. My parents think I was getting drunk and don't know about my future plans, I think. Though they might of seen my gender centre documents (mum, snoops around and prys into stuff she has no idea is precious, at least my father doesn't engage in those kinds of "search-and-destroy" missions, though he use to), I'll see if they offer other services I can tap into, appreciate your kind words
Sweetie if it makes you happy and if it’s what you really want then I think you should go for. If you turn it down the decision to put off turning your life around and making yourself into who you truly believe you are, that decision may haunt you forever. Good luck and best wishes 🤗
@FemboyJessi thank you sweetie, I think I probably am going to take it. Just have to arrange things here, before I leave for my new life as Donna, leave Alexander Salvadori behind

You need to surround yourself with people who truly support you as much as possible. Is it not possible for you to conceal the fact you'll be taking hormones?
@SW-User not as they take effect. I am currently Alexander Salvadori, but as I grow into Donna K., I'll be shinier and my voice will shift (not significantly). I will be becoming who I was always mean't to be. I can't hide me after 2 months of hormones
