@SW-User Who knows, there might've been some LGBT people back when I went to school but sexuality wasn't really spoken about.
In general people looked at it as, everyone is straight. Sounds weird but yeah, back then: you're a boy, so you like girls and vice versa.

@PurpleStar my school was very open. People loved who they loved, but it wasn't advertised. David always knew. Kids bullied him, and the others, and I fought the bullies, because even then, the late 1970s, I hated bullying. Got my ass beat, too.

@SW-User Pretty sure if anyone would've come out, they'd probably be bullied as well.
People got bullied for the smallest things.
Luckily as an extremely well-known and aggressive sh*t kid, people left me alone XD
