I Have a Messed Up Sleep Schedule

I'm a polyphasic sleeper and do ok if the schedule allows my naps. I've never slept much at a time
As the years wear on, I find the body is less tolerant of irregular sleeping patterns. I can't get by on my usual routine.

@SethGreene531 is it difficult to adapt? I'm not choosing this routine it's what my brain wants. I'd be happy to change just doubtful it will
@HearTheRhythm I've found it so.
I used to hit REM sleep easily in 20 minute naps, but they never refreshed like a solid 8 hours. The years of my 8 hrs in 24, or zero in 24 even, are fast disappearing.

I'm a night owl, I have only myself to blame. Resisting what my internal clock would prefer.
