When I tried to talk to people who I considered friends about deep painful things and they acted as if I was nobody, like they couldn't be bothered to care.
@Madeleine yes it was so hard and sometimes I still cry endlessly! But I know it's been 20 years but it hit me hard. I know I'm not alone since joining here! Many people have been hit with prolonged grief disorder! 😢
got divorced, lost my job and my home...i was in such a low place, felt completely isolated but that was also my fault as i pushed people away from me for a while. Lucky they were still around afterwards to help me through.
It often feels as though it is "me against the world" no matter how many people try to support me. They never comprehend the full extent of my struggles and it is very isolating sometimes.
