When I tried to talk to people who I considered friends about deep painful things and they acted as if I was nobody, like they couldn't be bothered to care.

@lovingdead You deserve better people.. they are not real friends.
lovingdead · 31-35, M
@Madeleine everyone deserves better, and maybe, but it's all I have right now.

When I felt like the person that supposedly loved acted as if I didn't exist. Terrible feeling.

Loneliness has been my constant companion thus far in life.

got divorced, lost my job and my home...i was in such a low place, felt completely isolated but that was also my fault as i pushed people away from me for a while. Lucky they were still around afterwards to help me through.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@nahright09 I'm sorry for what you had to go through, I'm glad you survived it. The best is yet to come I believe.
nahright09 · 41-45, M
@Madeleine thank you so much, I absolutely agree! Feel so much better about who a am now.
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
It often feels as though it is "me against the world" no matter how many people try to support me. They never comprehend the full extent of my struggles and it is very isolating sometimes.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@SwampFlower I understand, or at least I'm trying to. The best way to motivate yourself is to count your blessings.. you will feel better when you do.

No matter what, you aren't alone now nor will you ever be.
