@Carver I'm not trying convince anyone. I am just letting you know your interpretation of my motives is clouded and misdirected. I've seen you take this tack with other males who, like me, confront you with logic, steadfast reasoning, and sincerity. Let's just recognize that there are certain types of men, like me, who you feel you need to push back on for reasons you seem to prefer not to examine. That's fine; that's your choice. I just don't understand what you think you gain by doing so.

I know I respect women who are confident in their roles and don't feel the need to constantly prove themselves to me. I suspect you have not reached that level of self-confidence, but I think you can.

Finally, you seem to hold "not buying any of it" as some type of merit of achievement. The thing is, I'm not selling anything. Maybe one day you will be able to recognize that.
