I Hate Broken Promises
I posted this some time ago on EP;
Don't tell me what you ARE going to do to/for me unless you really intend to do that. I can take promises that don't happen, but if the promise offer-er has no intention of following through then it's a waste.
And got a mixed bag of replies, most surprisingly those defending promise breakers. It comes down to this; before you speak think. Before you swear to do something think about whether you think you can pull it off. I don't want promises to be made just to make me feel better, what makes me feel good is being important enough for someone to follow through.
