I used to just make the sandwich. The ex had a LOT of terrible traits in his later years when insanity finally set in, but he was usually always willing to go to the store for me, or pick up take out food, and even though he didn't know how to fix them himself, he used to take both cars to the mechanic. He used to mow the lawn, and did a LOT of little things for me, before everything went south.
