No. Just think about having a straight line from south America sea shore to a sea shore in Africa over the sea water. Don't you think it would be an arc.

@ABCDEF7 How about looking at a smaller amount? Even if a glass is tilted, the water is horizontal.

@Riemann You are not able to see that fractional arc in smaller values, but they exist, it can't be 0. You need to also consider surface tension in smaller amounts.
