I Hate Social Justice Warriors

👳: "Homosexuality is a sin and all homosexuals will burn in hell!"
👩‍🎤: "Stfu you bigot, stop being a homophobe!"
👳: "I am a Muslim and my religion says homosexuals must be put to death so you don't be an Islamophobe!"
👩‍🎤: "You're a Muslim? Well, that's okay then! That's just a part of your culture. My apologies, carry on."

And that is why we all left the Catholic Church...
My mom couldn't fathom being around hypocrites when her son was gay!
Also the hypocrisy that went with it!
The abuse the priests were doing to young boys and it was all covered up!
When we left the Catholic Church we were shunned on our road by hypocritical Catholic neighbours who didn't even stick with Catholic rules!
My mom left purely because of my brother not being welcome in the church at all!
We all became unitarians!
And my brother was able to walk down a church aisle while I gave him away to marry his partner Andrew of 18 years!
Beliefs and rules are one thing...
Just go with your heart... Like my mom did and she was able to free think her own faith like us all!
A wonderful amazing modern woman for her time!

Of the Muslim friends I have none of them care if someone is gay or not. I’ve never seen a Muslim get a free pass as homophobia.
But I can just speak on my personal experience.

@SW-User The last of it that matters here is the belief that all oppression or ostracising stems from the same root cause and are related. So since homosexuals and Muslims are seen as less savory by western society that they should ally together and have the same struggle. Even when the fact is they are allying with a group that hates them even more and has a much more radical idea against them.

The belief being that it all stems from the same source and is the same thing.
