I Will Talk To Anyone Who Wants To Talk To Me Or Needs Advice

Let your friend learn her/his way. I know someone who keeps asking me for my advice, the same thing over and over and it gets annoying now because she is never going to listen.

one thing that helps is waiting till they ask for advice, another is to realize that your advice is not an order. it is simply a suggestion. it is what you would do. but it might not be what they will do. when i want advice i go to several people i respect and trust. then i think on it and make the decision what i will do. i don't necessarily follow anyone persons advice and only i know me, my needs, my wants and my capabilities

There is nothing more you can do for your friend. Some people can only learn from experience. Rarely will anyone heed a word of advice, unless they have gone through it themselves. You can scream and shake your friend and they will still go and do exactly what you've advised against.

Just let your friend make their mind up themselves and be there for them if things go wrong.Don't push too hard you will lose them

Oh yes, a lot. I still don't always know how to cope with it, I just leave it. If they don't want advice, I might as well shut up

Nothing you can do except be there for them when things get messed up because they didn't listen
