What do you think will actually happen? Do you think the restrictions will extend or not?

Considering you folks had an outbreak, if I remember correctly, probably not the best thing to do.

Even here in the states July 4th is still very tentative for parts of the country. Though that is the plan for the time being.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales parts of the EU not saying UK specifically. Yet that will effect the UK no matter what. And why it will effect you folks. You all are just to close to each other dispite that short stretch of water.

in a pandemic.Others say we can return to normality.others insist opening up would be a huge mistake.We are much better off than our neighbours.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales variants are the concern! Not the current strain. Until the variants are controlled everyone will be effected. Including us here.

@DeWayfarer all reports suggest vaccines are effective against the variants...there comes a point where you just have to get on with it.And I think we are at that point here.
But I would close our borders...

@TheSirfurryanimalWales Please don't be fooled. Look at what's happening in india and south america. There are variants there for certain! And they are still a concern. When was border strictions ever effective? Even in war time? It takes only one to spread them.
