My boyfriend is recovering at home now.

I check his oxygen levels dozens of times per day. I also make sure hes on his side or tummy whenever he lies down. Then I check his fingers to make sure theyre not getting sore from the oximeter. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us.

You are providing good care ... did he receive any anti-virals?
purplepen · 51-55, F
@questionWeaver They gave him IV dexamethasone as well as fluids, supplemental oxygen non-invasive, and some flovent which he got his doctor to refill after he came home. He may have been given vitamin D but I'm not sure. He's getting vitamin D, potassium citrate, Vitamin C, and quercetin from me.
@purplepen get him direct sunlight during the day.

How is his temperature?
purplepen · 51-55, F
@questionWeaver His temperature is perfect. He's breathing normally but still has lowish oxygen levels (not in the danger zone, but mostly 93-94 %. Occasionally it jumps down to 89 or up to 95.
@purplepen is his blood pressure or heart beat a little higher than normal?

Temperature is most important

And that sounds good

Low oxygen can be compensated for by higher blood flow

You are a loving caretaker!
