How will we know if the vaccine is working? Will the survival rate go from 99.7% to 99.8%?

I'm pretty sure the death toll is more than that.

Also I don't my family members to die , just because I don't like to follow protocol.

Vaccination is not a new theory , it would help us to reduce the spreading.

@MasterLee See, that's what you reduced to. Bleating.

@Elessar no it was a commentary on your regurgitation.

Explain to me how 2.8 million people died in the USA of all causes in 2019.

As of November 30 2020, 2.7 million died in 2020 from all causes.

The numbers of 'covid' deaths are in that number.

The virus would still be around but we wouldn't have people catching the disease because we taught our immune systems how to respond to the virus.

Right now someone dies of it every 30 seconds. These are people we know and care for. Vulnerable people.

They wont say that it is working they will say EVERYONE must be. The point of this charade is to stab everyone with their poison.

9 months into this pandemic there are still people convinced that it's all a hoax, and their only metric is death rates calculated on partial data, ignoring completely the fact that, if/when healthcare facilities will no longer be capable of receiving inpatients due to saturation, the death rate itself will match de facto the hospitalisation one (good luck surviving it without O2 suppl. if you happen to get it bad.

Go check what was the death rate in Bergamo in April.

All this of course because people with the same amount connected neurons of a pudding, led by a TV host who happened to find himself the president of a superpower, are too inconvenienced by admitting they f*cked up day by day since day one and claim to know better than the entire academic world. It'll start by defusing situations like this, hopefully.

@Elessar there are lies and then there are statistics.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@MasterLee Yeah, indeed, go check the statistics on where containment and healthcare management failed, such as Bergamo in Mar-Apr.

"It's no worse than the flu"
"Only the very sick and elderly are dying"
"We'll get herd immunity by July"

"OMG SomEOnE iN AlaSKA hAd a ReACTion! NO VaX Eveah!!!"

@Patty81
"We'll get herd immunity by July"
I never heard anyone saying "by July".
But even if people were expecting that date, the reason we haven't advanced much is because we were in forced lockdown...

We'll know when people who catch the virus won't die from it or be placed on a ventilator to breathe.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
No change will be in the results.

I think it will be counted as effective when the case counts go down drastically and stay down even after lockdowns are eased. This is based on what I've read in newspapers.
