Which tier are you in today?

It's so quiet here you'd thing BoJo's put SW into tier-4 as well! Grinch pretends he's Santa before showing his true green colour 😆 Actually, Grinch is okay. Wouldn't say the same for our 🤡 Just an opinion!

I was impressed at how quickly bojo learned how to announce lock downs, I thought the pandemic would be over before he learned no to give us a ten day notice for which to party in before it started.
summersong · F
I feel left out, we don’t get tiers over here in the US 😢
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@summersong Here are four tears from me then 😢😢😢😢
NickiHijab · F
The tiers in my eyes.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@NickiHijab 😢😢😢😢 Four here :(
NickiHijab · F
@PhilDeep ugh, that's a nightmare. I'm in 3
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@NickiHijab Tier-2 to tier-3 transition doesn't really hit teetotallers because the only big difference is pubs closing. 3->4 means non-essential shops close too and basically same conditions as for national lockdown. Two more weeks of it at least. Films I won't be watching: Cabin Fever and others of that ilk 😆
AntisocialTroll · 56-60, F
Tier 3 currently, boxing day we get tier 4 again...
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@AntisocialTroll Sounds harsh indeed. I hope you folk get a bit of merriment and joy as you sound like you all deserve it most. I'm an introvert but these past nine-months-or-so have started to do even my head in a bit :(
AntisocialTroll · 56-60, F
@PhilDeep I'm going out to top up my leccy key once every six weeks, that's it, it's not like I got out much before but now there is just no incentive to bother, I kinda can't imagine ever getting back to what used to be my normal, hate it.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@AntisocialTroll I think we all tacitly imagined this would be done with in a few months at worst. It's approaching a year now with no end in sight. Sorry to read you don't get out much anyway. I hope you have connections via here and elsewhere to rein-in some of that loneliness 🤗
adorbz · 26-30, F
We’re still tier 2 👀 but I’m sure we’ll go up at some point
SW-User
I went to get my shopping earlier. I picked up my sister. We've both been isolating cos work. Sainsburys was quieter. But we went to pick up a coffee and cakes nearby and the place was like normal 🤷‍♀️
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@SW-User £200 spot fines, even for suspicion of being out without valid reason are in force again :(
SW-User
@PhilDeep Thanksfully I live in the land of gangs and stabbings, so I might be ok unless the police have nothing to do
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@SW-User Whoa, gosh, I had no idea. Hope you and your loved-ones are keeping safe then, my friend 🤗
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Were in tier 2. I'm kinda glad I made no plans to see parents if honest.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@PhilDeep I think the pressure came from themselves. I haven't seen my parents this year and didn't want to jeopardise anyone. The only pressure was put on from me debating whether we should do the 4 and a half hour journey. Including traffic, stops etc. It was simply not worth it.

Food ive said since March
Why was this not going to vulnerable or homeless people
They callously binned it and claimed they lost money.. I get the money loss. But that food need not be wasted
. People who have overbought. There are local food bank charities throughout the UK. Its really easy to give.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@Gangstress Four and half hours is very long indeed. In any case police have been told to stop people trying to leaver Tier-4. Apparently a lot of folk legged it out of here by train last night. Not good if any were infected, especially with this new nasty strain that's got us banned from travelling to some countries :(
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@PhilDeep yeh I saw on the news this morning..People are frustrated, I get it. Argh. Were in a bit of mess in England
Houdini · 56-60, M
Tire 4 here but it is what it is everything is out of our hands we will just have to make the best of what we have
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@Houdini Of course I honestly hope this helps infection rates reduce, I just don't like how the government seem to be making it all up as they go along, but trying to sound as if they're well on top of it.
Houdini · 56-60, M
@PhilDeep to be fear I don’t think anyone really knows what to do. But have to try something and it’s never going to please everyone
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
Put in tier 4 yesterday here in London
Magenta · F
Tier living.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@Magenta The only one worth being in, my friend - I am happy for you 🤗
Magenta · F
@PhilDeep Indeed.🤗💓
HotPizza71 · 51-55, M
Still in tier 2. But a town that's about 15 miles away is in tier 4. So I guess they'll all come here for there Xmas shopping!
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@HotPizza71 Apparently cops are checking people from tier-4 stay in there(!)
HotPizza71 · 51-55, M
@PhilDeep they've not the resources, so many will slip through there nets
