Going Back to School

I worked in a school for 22 weeks and the kids had parents in the hospital. We re-opened the school for everyone for three weeks before the summer holidays.
In four weeks time everyone starts the new term. Is it too early? We are way behind England and Scotland.

It feels like an experiment with other people's lives.
If reopening the pubs has seen the infection rate increase despite reduced numbers of customers, why would schools not be a lot worse.

@Blodyn Even the government says little ones can't social distance and the number of times I forgot!

@Blodyn When I was at school we were always slapping each other from behind, pushing each other, teasing and whatever.
That's still going to go on.
Adults can't be trusted to social distance so what chance have you got with young ones.

@DarkMoon They say it's ok to have all the kids in the same class just keep the teacher apart. Normal for the 19th century.
