I can't wear masks for medical reasons and these were recommended by people with my conditions who use these instead. A lot easier to use and it covers my entire face and I don't have to adjust it constantly so really happy with this option and hopefully people will stop feeling they have a right to scream at me for not wearing a mask even though our government says I don't have to, and I do mean scream, with some very unimaginative insults
These people that talk to you about masks should realize that the longer they spend interacting with others, the more likely they are to be exposed to the infection.
They shouldn't be talking to you to begin with.
Your shield is level 2 in infection prevention, we use them when there is a risk to be exposed to blood directly or other infectious fluids, with a mask on.
I hope you try on other fabrics as masks, maybe you will find something better than this. And avoid going out all together, or in extreme hot weather.
I am sorry that it's difficult to adjust to the current circumstances due to your illness.
I'd get myself one of those, but I also like having my face partially covered around people when wearing a mask. If only there was a way to make two-way plastic for those things, lol.
I have the same shields as you for the same reason, I actually really wanted to wear a mask as I'm shy and introverted in RL and bought myself a funky one but just couldn't breathe well enough to make it doable.
