I Wear Coveralls

For me the sweet spot has always been when insulated coveralls are broken in, but they still "do the job." There have been times when I've worn the same set day in and day out for a couple years that not only do they get holey and thin and frayed, but the insulation just doesn't hold up. They're still good for an extra la<x>yer, but by themselves they're just not enough any more.

I remember a time I was going winter camping with a buddy. He was wearing standard camping gear, nice and expensive-like. I was in my ragged insulated coveralls that I hadn't gotten around to replacing yet. It was really cold, but luckily I had la<x>yers to wear underneath them.
