We have released a great new feature: Message Introduction.
Your Message Introduction appears to users in the moment they are about to compose their first message to you.
With this, you can let users know what type of private conversations you are interested in having or what you are not, what they can expect when contacting you, or anything else on your mind.
• [b]Privacy Improvements[/b]
You can now make messages from [b]Users who you have Muted[/b] be sent to your [u]Messages Requests[/u], unless you already have a conversation with them in your Inbox.
This is a new option in your "Filter Messages" settings (accessible through your Messages page). ☑ Users who I have Muted
In addition, if you want to move a conversation from your [u]Inbox[/u] to your [u]Messages Requests[/u], there is now a new button [b]Ignore Messages[/b] that does that:
Contrariwise, you can also move messages from your [u]Messages Requests[/u] to your [u]Inbox[/u]:
[big]• Remove Followers 🔒[/big]
You can now remove Followers.
Removing a user from Followers will also [u]restrict the user[/u] from following you again.
If you want to allow that user from following you in the future, you can remove the block very easily, so that they can follow you again: https://similarworlds.com/settings-blocked-followers
• [b]A few other Improvements to Friends lists[/b]
- We now show the user names instead of "SW User", if the user has canceled their profile and they are still on your Friends list (only you can see the real name).
- You can now see the time at which someone Followed you, or when you Followed someone, in your Friends/Followers lists.
[big]• New Image Max-Size 🏖🏝🌄[/big]
We have increased our maximum image/photo size from 650x600 to [b]720x720[/b].
This allows our users to upload bigger photos to Similar Worlds, improving the quality of the images shown on posts and messages.
[big]• Other Relevant Improvements 🛠 [/big]
• We are now line-breaking big links on posts, to make them easier to select and copy.
• Loads of improvements to the popup position and size, especially when the keyboard opens. (a good example is the Insert Image popup, which we found a bit dificult to use on Mobiles)
• We don't allow posting nested replies on a Comment from someone that is blocked, anymore.
• The "Show Less" (of a user) action can now be found through the Profile button: "Mute/Block/Report".
• Multiple improvements to Scrolling and Navigation on SW.

@MethDozer Hello. Thank you for your suggestion. I'm not sure if we should consider having that option, as that is similar to the "Dislike" button which people have obviously told us not to implement, as that would cause more hate in here. We might consider extending the Best Answer to Stories, though... :)
@MethDozer well to my way of thinking if a best answer is put up then basically all the other answer are basically bad answers or at least the author didn’t particularly like the other answers and that is the authors right to choose which answer they like best at that point.
@MethDozer no I didn’t mean to say that the other answers are all crap per say I was just trying explain it in a way that the author apparently didn’t necccerilly like them and had to choose the one that he /she did like the best hence the title best answer. Sorry if I offended anyone rereading my earlier reply I guess it does kind of say that all other answers are bad or at least weren’t deemed by the author as good enough. But unfortunetly there can only be one best answer.
@Nuno yea I get not having a worst answer but actually would it be possible to implement a answer placement system , instead of best answer you could set the top 3 best answers in a 1st place , 2nd place , 3rd place system that way thiers no real hate but instead would maybe create a little competition
@MethDozer No, it really isn’t. A way for people to be uglier to each other [b]isnt[/b] needed. And people should be able to remove nasty comments from their stories and questions, if they choose.
@bijouxbroussard Well I am partly.kidding except on the OP removal of comments. That is comets snowfalls garbage. Sorry, but that's how I will.always see it. It only encourages trolling and makes it impossible to take the site seriously. Anyone speaks publicly should expect any reply. Editing option is just plain retarded.
@MethDozer I don’t know if you’ve ever had a stalker, or one who [b]enlisted[/b] friends. I got to a point on AM where I deleted a couple of stories because someone was being ridiculous posting off-topic comments. It’s like saying if you speak in public you should be okay with having tomatoes thrown at you and not need to clean them off. 😶
@bijouxbroussard Not to say it wouldn't come in handy by some in rare cases, the point is it us mostly abused and 90% of the time is just to create an echo chamber or a false dialogue. If the worst answer is a bad idea because it cod be abused, then op editing is way worse in that regard.
@MethDozer I don’t generally remove content unless I consider it abusive. And since I try not to be abusive if someone removes my content (and they have) simply because it disagreed with their POV, I don’t interact with them in future. There are plenty of other posters. It is a fact that some people [b]don’t[/b] want an actual dialogue, no matter how civil.
