have you ever experienced 'trail magic'? have you ever given any out?

@BexEyes I don't know that it's unique to the AT (apalachian trail), but that's where I hear about it. on long hikes with lots of people (the AT is 2200+ miles), people often end up doing some kinda selfless and helpful things. leave out food... beer... pick people up for a ride. all with no expectations.
