Are you a photographer?

If so, what kind of camera do you use? My weapon of choice is the Canon EOS 1300D. It's a rather cheap DSLR, but I love it.

I love playing at it . I like the EOS , the motors are always good .
TexChik · F
@Lincoln of course it is ... I tend to by off brand ( Tamron) lenses with lower f stops .

@soar2newhighs I have an EOS 650 body that takes film . Great paperweight!
Another thing I miss about the CANONs and slides, is even when I was shooting slide images, the "Grandaddy" of Kodak slide film, KODACHROME was on its way out-you wanted the "warm range" of colors, that film gave it to you, especially the ASA of 25 (tripod helped too)!

I use a Nikon D5200 and D5100. Both are sort of mid-range DSLRs. I would love to have a full-frame camera, probably mirrorless, but they're pricey still.

@DunningKruger I've never used a mirrorless camera. How do they compare to a DSLR?
Tracos · 51-55, M
I got a Canon 40d

Check the 60mm

@Tracos I shall. Would you recommend a cheaper lens by an unpopular manufacture? Money is short these days.

One of the most pleasant lenses I got is the nifty fifty... Canon 50mm II F1.8... at that time only 60 bucks. A very simple prime lens (so no macro) feels totally plasticky but makes for awesome bokeh shots

Had a NIKON Macro lens when I had my NIKON D-5000. Talk about some really good "close ups"!
@Lincoln macrophotography is near the top of my list. The good lenses are pricey though.
I think astrophotography is a lot of fun.

@SooperSarah I've taken a few star photos. It's beautiful.

I use a mixture of GoPro hero 3. Panasonic LUMIX. And a Nickon D90.

@Sroonaka616 My son wants a GoPro. He's into skateboarding and roller skating.
Currently use the NIKON D3400. Wish I still had my NIKON D5000.

@soar2newhighs I'm not familiar with those. Nikon makes good cameras, though.
