Can I use Irish Cream instead of water?

Going to make cupcakes. The mix calls for 1 1/4 cups water. Can I replace it with Baileys Irish Cream instead? What my cupcakes to have a little pizzazz.
I did a little research and if you're using a cake mix - they say go for it, cake mixes are designed to be fool-proof but you may want to add 1/4 c milk or buttermilk for moisture because of the alcohol.
The consistency is not the same...probably dilute the Bailey's with some water until it LOOKS like water.

Or try it full strength and see what happens.
It's likely it will work fine. Never know till you try. @SW-User

It's not going to have any alcohol effect as the heat from baking will get rid of it. They also wont taste very good.

@EmilyEdith I did, it turned out great. I made a dark chocolate ganache with Guinness and Jameson as the frosting.
