Should I let my young m2f friend live with me?

I know a kid who wants to come to the US and work as a bartender. I just happen to have a spare room. We're good friends but no one else knows of him because he's gay transgender mtf and I'm pretty sure my family and friends would be like wtf? Between the work visa issues, family and friend issues, and general fears of discrimination I've not yet said yes. Just feels like it would go badly. Sucks too because he's a great kid. Age 26.

He just gets all his paperwork in order and if that means coming here as a man then once he is here then he can take care of his transition.

@Riemann: he should be able to get a job. There's a shortage of trained bar tenders here now and he's worked in a big casino in Hong Kong.
