How do you define a good conversation?

To me, a good quality conversation happens when I get to enjoy myself and learn at the same time without feeling stressed or like I'm being attacked. When the other person could make me feel excited, relaxed and genuinely curious and when I sense he/she feels the same way.

It isn't good when it starts to feel like a chore or like pulling teeth.

I love talking to people and getting to know their stories. I have always enjoyed a good conversation with anyone. Therefore, to me, I define a "good conversation" as one with no barriers. Meaning both me and the other party is conversing with one another. Being emotionally open, and trying to connect by better understanding each other's life experiences. We're able to feed off each other's energies, ups and downs, successes, and all the like.

I love a broad-ranging deep conversation on metaphysics.

Conversations in which I find myself reflecting on it days after.
