Do you write poems and dedicate songs to anyone?

Once upon a time I wrote many stories/poems for someone and posted some songs relating to.

I used to write poems a long time ago.
I've dedicated songs occasionally, when I felt it fit.

It's rude to put someone on the spot like that.

Yes, I dedicated songs to my gf, but we talk on the phone a lot, so I haven't done it much here.

I dedicated a few songs to friends on EP. I’m not sure if I’ve done that here. I used to write poetry, but it’s been awhile.

I'm thinking about writing one for my ex-wife, but I think of a word that rhymes with hell.
