how are you supposed to make new friends (IN REAL LIFE), when everything is shut down due to covid?

I do not see any virtual things going on online, where you can connect with other people.
I am not interested in just a class where I'm watching something pre-recorded.

I need to be with other people right now, and right now that's had to do.

Ugh why...??
My social life was JUST picking up in February then this crap happened.
My social life have never been in person anyway so nothing change for me on that account.

You kinda don't. That's the point. You're supposed to be staying at home as much as possible until covid gets under control. Talk to friends on Zoom, Skype, Discord, whatever. Video chat. Or go to the park. Hang out six feet apart in the open air.

@Madhatter I don't have anyone TO talk to. That's MY point

@iamnikki Then that goes back to my first sentence. "You don't." People online is about the best you can do right now. But you've got the whole internet. Start talking to some strangers. They're all trapped at home, too.
I feel ya. It’s killed dating as well.
There are apps that can help you meet people online. So far I'm using a app called spoon and it's basically a chat for you to meet new people. I love it
