My room has a bathroom and so does my parent's but if we ever have guest over i always have to give up my room.. and i dont mind but sometimes this causes figbts in the house... my dad always feels bad that i have to give up my room but my mom gets mad if i don't how do you guys feel? Should someone give up their room for a guest?

I would never force someone to give up their personal space for a guest, and I've never had to. And as a guest, I'd feel both bad and awkward for taking someone else's bedroom. Like, no, I'm sleeping on the couch or the cot I keep in my trunk. I'm not taking your child's room. That's just weird.

Let em sleep on the couch. Either that or you mom and dad should pay for a hotel room for you, complete with room service. :)

No, we actually have an extra room for guests but the only guest we have is an Infant

@JarJarBoom yes! We have a guest room too but its usally "not clean enough" and my mom thinks its just easier to kick me out of mine...and it gets old🙄

Parents not going to give up room...why inconvenience them both, just make kid sleep someplace else.

Maybe they consider you to be a guest.
