So I just started a new business and best friends of years hasn’t reached out to me and said nothing nor tried calling I’m a little hurt by this

I thought we better than that she gets on Facebook and etc . So I know she know I started my own business how would you feel ? Or I guess how should I feel or do about it ... I didn’t do it for her but my family and myself but just that extra boost from friends goes a long way

I’m sorry, but coming from a family that owned their own business family and friends were the worst. My mother’s friends did not support her, did not buy from her, and neither did relatives. Never stepped into our store. You will not be able to count on friends or family outside of your immediate family. Focus on customers...they will be your biggest fans.
A lot of it is jealousy when it comes to friends.

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 i agree. And then i also wanted to comment that just because your friend is on facebook, doesn't mean she's sees everything you post. I get on FB maybe twice a week and only for a few minutes, so of course, I'm only gonna see certain things. Maybe you could send your friends a FB message with a flyer for your business and ask them to stop by or to try out x product? Good luck with your business
