Have you ever felt that you need distance from a friend?

@RubySoo @Dusty101 I used to think the same. And yes, for some friends, I still believe that. Just that other times, recently actually, I kinda feel a bit vindictive haha. I know it's not good. But sometimes, I don't really wanna give an explanation because I know it will just create more stress. It may not be the case if you and the person are seeing eye to eye but if not, I think just staying silent helps. Advice?

@Casheyane I worked with a colleague who would Stonewall me for one day and be mean to me for no reason...
I asked her why does she do that and I have no idea why!
"Her answer was that I must be a very stupid person to not know why and she is under no obligation to explain it to me"
I realised that this is a personality I couldn't cope with so I just let her go along her way without engaging her issues!
Her way.
Everyone has different coping mechanisms and I left her to it!
Not going to waste my energy on that shite!

@Dusty101 I see your point. In my case thought, I think we could both do with space. We just spent many days together for a break and it kinda brought a lot of conflicts. We talk and it may seem okay, but it doesn't feel like it. Not really. You know that feeling that trust someone but not with your happiness and not with your life? I kinda long for that.
