Friend is being ridiculous

Split from my long-term husband last year and got with someone else a few months on. i am very happy in an unexpected way despite the upcoming divorce. I loved my husband very much but realise now that my new man is much better for me. My friend doesn't get this and says I am deluding myself and that she is worried,how should I handle this??

Live your life and she will get over it.

Your friend will come around. Maybe she has protective instincts over you and that causes her to have more worry than is needed. Just remember shes your best friend and that she will stay by your side. Trust your instincts. How does your new man feel about this?

@MarHar99 A bit pissed off that she isn't entirely on board

@Jenni855 Yeah I bet, did your friend and new man know each other prior to you two beginning dating?
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@MarHar99 No they didn't

Friends don't always have to agree. She may think you are rushing into another relationship too soon but only you know how you feel. Just tell her thanks for worrying about you and do what you want.

You could ignore your interpretation of the situation for hers...why not let her decide what your favourite meal/colour/movie is too?😉

She is just probably looking out for you and don't want you to get hurt or make any wrong decisions.

Did he cheat on you or beat you?
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Sounds like she's concerned about you moving on quickly.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@uncalled4 Hey don't say nothing let her sleep in the bed she makes
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@uncalled4 I am incredibly happy
