Ever had a friendship broken? Did you call it off or the friend?

A fair few of them. There's been some on both sides. It happens, is just life. The betrayals are the most wounding, but some of them were just over really weird and petty things and I'm kinda thankful it ended that way and not under stress. Shows who are the real friends and who are just putting on a friendly face.
Yes with my best friend of 8 years who I saw like brother. It was just a matter of drifting apart due to gradually having different viewpoints on life in general. I don’t really have any animosity towards him, at least not anymore

I recently reunited with a friend that I haven't spoken to for 8 years. She was friends with my brother but the group split up due to childish fighting. I'm glad I contacted her because I often thought about her and wanted to make up badly.

Not really, time and distance kinda faded out some friendships but didn't get friend-dumped or the other way around. (talking about real life friendships here, internet friendsips are unstable as hell :D )

7 years ago me and my best friend of about 13 years had a blazing row. The stuff said was horrible. Shortly after that night I never spoke to her again. She wasn’t the nicest of people. I live in peace now.
Im still friends with the kid i was bff with when i was 6 years old.

Im friends with my friends unless they turn into something else (not a friend) in which case i cease to think of them as such

I would never end a friendship. Adapt, drift apart, becone less close....but id never end it. Kinda like you cant end being a brother/sister. Once a friend....always in my heart x

A friend i felt a close connection to told me a couple of months ago they no longer wanted me in their life. Im still crushed by it.

Yes I was sad about it starting to deteriorate at first until she started doing things I couldn’t respect. I then missed the old friendship but accepted we didn’t have it anymore
