How many times have you been ghosted by a friend without any clue of what you have our have not done?

Think I just experienced my second time in life. It's strange how folks will just do so without any indication of what went wrong. Pretty sure I did nothing wrong, so left to wonder if I failed to do something I should have? Hmmm.

Yes. I have been. Sad too, because we were close, I thought. Very close.. Ghosted me and her boyfriend. She Re-appeared months later married to a woman. I knew she was at least bisexual, and as a gay man, she was one of the first two people I came out to (at the same time, I had two female friends who I came out of the closet too), first person I ever told I had HIV. She was very suppo5of me being Gay, supportive of my health conditions. And then Boom. Suddenly gone.
I didn't get it then, and I don't now. I am still friends with her ex boyfriend. He was a super nice guy and neither of us deserved that. If she fell in love with someone else, or felt she was a lesbian and couldn't tell anyone (really have a hard time believing That when I told her I'm Gay) still should not have ghosted us. Anyhow. It hurt for quite some time.

I've had it done to me, I've done it to others. Sometimes people don't want you in their life anymore. Their life, their choice, might as well accept it

@StokedFox accepting it, just pondering on it. I know some folks it's the only way to deal with them. Though it makes me reflect on whether I sent that kind of signal. It's not about confronting the ghost, but about exploring whether you can find the lesson to improve yourself and become a better person.

@celine211 you try to ghost and fail? Do you make the decision to reach out again, as I would say that is a mind change. Our do they track you down and force contact? Cuz that is a bit creepy.
