Do you accept all requests for 'friend' on F.B.

I can't tell you how many I have to delete/remove. I don't know them we've never met. Does it make them a better person if they have more invisible friends? What is it about collecting friends anyway?
So sorry if this sounds Rude, I simply need to understand!

Only folks I have communicated with and gotten to know. Someone alerted me to something recently. People follow you and you don't even know it. It's creepy when you go and look at who is following you...I found 50 plus people following me and 80% of them had Muslim type names. I have NOTHING against Muslims...it was just weird to see all those names

@Fernie I hear you. My current complaint is the *NEW* self appointed moderator demanding all to change their photos. I too feel the same as you Fernie. However a name is a name.I can't stay here where there is this 'self appointed' Moderator telling us she doesn't like our pics.
So here's hoping that I may find something in 'Stumble Upon'

Nope, I have Facebook but never go there anymore, collecting friends is an ego stroking popularity contest... where people stroke their own ego bragging about the number of friends they never talk to.....
If it's someone I don't know or someone from my past that I'm not trying to be bothered with, I delete the friend request.

I get a friend request once every 2 to 3 years.

1. A lot of members on SW, or FB has hidden photos. In order to see what those pictures are, is to be connected as friends.

2. Message filtering. You can filter out those who are not your friends, and only get PM's from your friends only.

That's the only two things I can think of for the time being.

No I don't . It's weird. I've recently gotten back to facebook. I don't add anyone I dont know. Also, if I know you and want nothing to do with you, I don't add.

@iamnikki I spend more time deleting the requests for friend than looking for people I DO know! It's crazy! What's with this "LIST"?
I now just have Family.

@Carla1951 I think you may be able to make yourself unavailable for requests. The people requesting could be mutual friends...

I will friend any one who posts interesting posts and not those who post where and with whom they slept last night or had dinner with.

I only rarely accept friend request on FB and that's from people I know. FB is too intrusive for me so I basically don't bother with it
Coolkid77 · 31-35, M
Nope, beacuse some people are fake/hackers.
I don't think it's rude.
