WHY are so many worried about me not 'friending back?'

I get that
on Face Book I may not accept your friend request based on your friends and comments they make or who they are friends with .
I have family members I have not accepted their request .
Here its not that way ,
but if I accept you ,I also allow you access to my family ,and friends I have hand picked
My friends I can call and ask for help at 3am ,broke down half way across the state ,and I know they are coming ,
Friends on the other side of the world I can ask for prayer and I know they will pray ,for me and my other friends and family too ,I know I can count on them .
So I get it not about quantity ,just numbers ,
its about quality ,those you know will be there when you need a shoulder to cry on
My Friends and family know 24 /7 ,if you need me ,,I will do my best to be there

Some take the label "friend" on here a bit too seriously. The extent of being a "friend" on here in the profile sense of it is liking each other's posts and following so that you can filter them from everyone else. There's no blood pact with it lol.

This "friending" is a strange thing indeed. I suppose we all define it differently. For me, it's quite similar to how you define it.

This is the same reason I don't respond to private messages. Especially weird ones talking about "potatoes?!"😟
