It's a nice diversion for those of us living in constrictive circumstances. And by and large the people here are friendly and non judgmental, except maybe politically at times; but that's understandable. A nice feature is that with people who aren't nice, it takes but 2 or 3 clicks to make them vanish forever.
Also, for those I chat with or get to know more personally, I consider them good friends.
Of course it also means I run out of new stuff to look at: but a lot of that is controlled by algorithms. A few years ago you could actually see all posts in reverse chronological order. Now, it jumps around more, and is restricted more, based on my filter settings. So Similar Worlds is like a rainbow, we each see our own one.
Ngl I feel the same at times. The few I've talked to either have left or just stopped talking completely. I like interacting with some people, so that's probably the reason why I still login from time to time
this site is pretty much my only connection to other people outside of a couple of my college friends. even though i don't message people it still helps me feel a little less lonely when i see see others post and interact with each other.
